Dior Saddle Bag

The Dior Saddle Bag is the bag with the biggest comeback of all time. It was 1999 when John Galliano gave the Dior Saddle bag its debut during his spring/summer 2000 collection. The cowboy-inspired style, which was to be worn short and tight to the armpit, set off a whole new trend and became an instant success. The bag soon appeared in Sex and the City on the arms of Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) and was followed by many famous Hollywood stars. Each Saddle bag is handmade by artisans at the Dior Atelier.

Although the Dior Saddle Bag has not always been trendy, it returned in 2014 when Beyoncé started wearing it again. And since then, the Saddle Bag has been here to stay.

The new Saddle Bag is not a complete reproduction. The new bags are slightly larger than the originals. And a crossbody strap is easily attached to this one.

The Dior Saddle Bag comes in two sizes: though the current dimensions are different from the vintage versions. The Saddle Bag is available in more than 20 types of styles and colors. You can choose from leather and oblique-canvas to embroidered variants.
