Gucci Jackie Bag
The Gucci Jackie Bag is designed in the 50's and is definitely one of Gucci's most iconic bags. It was the first Hobo bag ever. Originally the bag was designed as a unisex model, but soon it grew into a beloved ladies’ bag.
At first the Gucci bag was called ‘The Constance’. In 1964, Jacqueline Kennedy was spotted carrying the bag and afterwards it became an instant hit. She liked the bag so much, she bought six of them. She was a huge fashion icon at that time. As a tribute to Jacqueline Kennedy, Gucci changed the name of the bag to the 'Jackie'.
The bag is known for its curved half-moon shape and its defining piston hardware. The Jackie comes in many different colors and materials.
The Gucci Jackie is available in different sizes: Mini: 19 x 13 x 3 centimeters, Small: 27.5 x 19 x 4 centimeters, Medium: 35.5cm x 25cm x 4.5 centimeters and Large: 40 x 30 x 15 centimeters.
