The new movie 'House of Gucci' starring Lady Gaga is a must-see movie. The Oscar-winning singer has decided to return to acting. Her role in 'A Star is Born' is still being discussed. We have high hopes for her in this movie. Will she surprise us again?

Lady Gaga reminds us every interview that she is an 'ordinary' Italian woman from New York. She is so super Italian that when she was younger she starred in "The Sopranos," an American drama serie about the Italian-American Mafia in New Jersey. And she is so Italian that she only reads the Italian Vogue. And she is so Italian that she persuaded Bradley Cooper with her meatball recipe to give her the role in A Star is Born. Lady Gaga is the person who greets you with 'ciao' and a double kiss. The more Italian the approach, the better.

THE FILM

The story is about Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) and Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver). They tell a love story with a not too happy ending. Patrizia and Maurizio were married for eighteen years. They got a divorce when Maurizio met a younger woman. Patricia murders her ex-husband, the former director of Gucci. The film is based on true stories, inspired by the book 'House of Gucci: A Sensation Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor and Greed'. This book was written by Sarah Forden, which became a huge hit in 1998 during Patrizia Reggiani's conviction.

The film is set in Italy. Images of Gressoney in the Alps have recently been shared with us. But the film is set in different locations in Italy, with Rome in the foreground. In addition to Lady Gaga, we see Al Pacino, Camille Cottin, Jared Leto and Jeremy Irons in the film. Big names from the film world, an inspiring House of Gucci cast.

Ridley Scott is the director, at the age of 83 this production is not the least. With his wife Giannina Scott as the director's partner, they did a great job. The script was written by the Italian writer Roberto Bentivegna.

LADY GAGA AS PATRIZIA REGGIANI

Lady Gaga plays a murderous socialite as Patrizia Reggiani. With her Italian roots, the Italian accents will be a breeze. The looks of Lady Gaga, among others, are already flying around our ears. This sets the bar high again.

The 72-year-old Patrizia Reggiani is not completely satisfied with the fact that Lady Gaga takes on her role in the film. She had hoped Lady Gaga had made the effort to meet or at least get in touch with her before taking on the role. In addition, Patrizia Reggiani says that she will not receive any money for the film, but that is not the biggest problem according to her.
