The new year has just begun, but Louis Vuitton is already treating us to an extraordinary experience. From January 9th to February 9th, the exclusive Louis Vuitton X Murakami Pop-up Store is open. Located in the heart of SoHo, London, this unique space celebrates the renewed collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami, bringing an iconic collection back to life. 

Now, more than twenty decades later, the iconic collection is reimagined for a new generation. To celebrate this relaunch, Louis Vuitton has created a one-of-a-kind pop-up store where visitors can fully immerse themselves in a world of fashion and art.

The pop-up

The space offers a fascinating display of archival pieces showcasing the story of the original collaboration and the creative journey behind the collection. Alongside these historical treasures, the new collection, consisting of over 200 pieces, is available for purchase, featuring reissued versions of the famous Monogram Multicolore bags and timeless designs like the Superflat Panda and Superflat Garden. A custom-built cinema within the store showcases digitally enhanced versions of Murkani’s iconic Superflat films, originally created two decades ago.

Inside the store you can find a café offering delicate baked goods and drinks in specially printed cups and napkins with exclusive Louis Vuitton x Murakami designs.The pop-up store also is equipped with a dedicated care station where visitors can have their original Louis Vuitton X Murakami pieces professionally restored. Adding an extra layer of fun, Louis Vuitton has included a playful touch: with every purchase, customers receive a token to use in a giant vending machine filled with branded stickers, collectible trading cards, and portable games—perfectly capturing Murakami’s creative mind.
