The new prices of Chanel in 2020

Every year prices on all products increase. In 2020 European countries have increased all prices with 4% to 15%. Chanel is no different, and increases the prices of their items significantly every year as well. This can reach up to 10% every year. Recently Chanel announced the price increasements for 2020.

The rise in value of the Chanel Classic Flap bag

The Classic Flap bag originated in 1955 and has been very popular ever since. These bags keep their value for years, making it a great investment. The Classic Flap bag has different variations, they’re available in several sizes, colors and variations. The currently available sizes are the extra mini, mini rectangular, mini square, small medium, jumbo and maxi. Additionally, there are also many varying colors on the Chanel Classic Flap bag. Chanel's permanent colors are black and beige, but nowadays they’re also available in pink, dark blue, red and white.

The price of the first Chanel Flap bag in 1955 was $ 220 and has now reached $ 5500. Showing that it really retains its value. In the past year, the price of the Chanel Classic Small Flap bag has increased by 20.9%, while the price of the Chanel Classic Medium Flap bag has increased by 17.5%. The Chanel Classic Jumbo Flap bag has also been increased by a percentage of 15.8%. The price increasing happens with every Chanel bag, including the Chanel Wallet on Chain and the Chanel Boy Bag. Here you see a price increase of 9.3% and 4.3%. The small Boy Flap bag and the Chanel Old Medium Quilted Boy Flap bag both have been increased in price with 4.9%.

Even though new Chanel bags will be more expensive to sell every year, they keep their value. Not ready to make such a big investment, but definitely ready for you own Chanel bag?
