Oh no, here we go again…

The history of Chanel's price increases is long, very long. We remember writing about the Chanel Price Increase in January 2021. This feels like yesterday. But as we said... Here we go again... Anyone who has saved up for a beautiful Chanel bag can save a little more. Chanel, known as the French luxury brand of all time, is again raising the prices of their most popular items starting today, July 1, 2021.

The prices of the Chanel pieces are going up in the United States, Asia and Europe. How long you have to save depends entirely on which Chanel bag you were willing to buy. We understand that you have questions and are happy to answer them for you.

The price increase last January was around 4% to 7%. In July (we hate to tell you this), the percentages of Chanel's price increase are no longer a joke. As of today, the price will rise by about 9% to 15%. *crying internally*

Vintage is becoming more and more valuable

The price increases will became reality today. The new prices have already been implemented. With these next massive price hikes, vintage Chanel bags are likely to become more popular, and we totally get that!

At the moment you pay half the price for a vintage Chanel bag than for a new one. A vintage Chanel bag tells a story, and (in our opinion) is even more beautiful. However, keep in mind that prices in the vintage market are also rising. Why? High demand and rising purchase prices... There's nothing we can do about it.

Never hesitate to buy the bag of your dreams, because your bag can be a lifetime investment. A Chanel bag you bought yesterday can be worth 800 euros the next day.  

And we know, we know this sounds very cheesy, but the prices of designer bags will continue to rise every year, or even two or four times a year. So, the best time to buy that bag of your dreams is now. Where are you waiting for?!
