Louis Vuitton Saint Cloud PM in Monogram Canvas. Like most Louis Vuitton bags, the Saint Cloud is named after a location in France. In the case of this bag, it’s a district in North-West Paris, France. Saint Cloud has approximately 31 thousand inhabitants and is a commune of Hauts-de-Seine. It’s also known for its castle ‘Château de Saint-Cloud’ and the famous St Cloud porcelain. The place was named after the grandson of Clovis, called Clodoald or in French ‘Saint Cloud’. Louis Vuitton discontinued the production of the Saint Cloud, so if you have one then it is quite rare.
This crossbody bag has Vachetta leather details and an adjustable leather shoulder strap and gold-colored hardware. The main compartment closes with a push button. The inside contains one zipper pocket. At the back of the bag, there is a slip-in pocket.
The overall condition of this vintage bag is good because of the state of the canvas and the shape of the bag. However, there is some discoloration on the Vachetta leather and the gold-colored hardware.
