Louis Vuitton Papillon
The Louis Vuitton Papillon bag is designed by Henri Racamier, the husband of Louis Vuitton’s great granddaughter. He released the bag in 1966, and it has been popular ever since. The French word “Papillon” means butterfly. The design of the bag, supposedly, is inspired by a butterfly. This bag has been spotted around the arm of many celebrities including Victoria Beckham, Wu Xuanyi, Lauren Conrad, and Chloë Sevigny. At l'Etoile Luxury Vintage we sell authentic Louis Vuitton Papillon bags. We often have different sizes available. The Papillon Mini, Papillon 19, Papillon 26, and Papillon 30 are always very popular in Monogram or Damier canvas. Unfortunately, the Louis Vuitton Papillon was discontinued in 2009, luckily you can still buy a original vintage Papillon at l'Etoile Luxury Vintage.
