Chanel 2.55 Bag in rose gold with Lambskin Leather (Limited Edition). The bag opens with the iconic Chanel Mademoiselle lock. The Mademoiselle Lock gets its name from the fact that Coco Chanel never married. In February 1955 (thus the 2.55 moniker), she debuted the shoulder-carried version and changed handbag history. For the first time, it was acceptable for women of considerable social status to carry a bag on their shoulders.

The bag has gold-plated hardware and the bag has a slip-in pocket at the back. The brown leather inside of the bag features two compartments. The main compartment has two smaller slip-in pockets and one bigger slip-in pocket. Inside the flap is a small zipper pocket that was designed to store your secret love letters. This bag can be worn on the shoulder and is also long enough to wear as a crossbody bag. The serial number inside is clearly legible and an authenticity card is available.

The overall condition of the item is good, however, there are surface cracks on the leather due to usage. The inside of the bag is neat, there is no hard damage. This item comes with an authenticity card from our store.
